Safety Features:

Advanced safety features are often the most important feature that a new SUV can offer Saint Augustine drivers and this is the biggest difference between the two model years. The 2020 Tiguan now comes standard with Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Front Assist on all trim levels. Volkswagen Front Assist is a collection of features that includes Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Monitoring. The 2019 Tiguan includes all of the same features on the SE trim level and up. Other safety features that the 2020 Tiguan has to offer Riverside, FL drivers include Overhead View Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Light Assist, Lane Assist, and Park Distance Control with Maneuver Braking.

No matter where the road may take Daytona, FL drivers the Volkswagen Tiguan has the latest multimedia features to keep everyone charged, connected, and entertained. Both the 2019 and 2020 Tiguan come standard with Volkswagen Car-Net App-Connect with a 6.5-inch touchscreen display. Once again there are a few differences between the two model years and the 2020 Tiguan comes standard with two front and one rear USB port and has added Volkswagen Car-Net® Hotspot to every trim level. The 2019 Tiguan does not feature Volkswagen Car-Net® Hotspot and the dual front and single rear USB ports are standard on the SE model. Another new feature added for the new model year is wireless smartphone charging capabilities on the SE trim level and up.

When it comes to powertrain and performance the 2020 Tiguan remains the same as the previous model. Under the hood is a 2.0L TSI turbocharged engine that is both powerful and fuel-efficient; which are two things that Jacksonville Beach drivers are looking for. The Tiguan generates 184 horsepower, 221 lb.-ft. of torque, and gets 22 city and 29 highway mpg. The standard 8-speed automatic transmission for smooth shifting for on-demand power and Sport mode for enhanced performance. The Tiptronic® mode also gives drivers the ability to shift manually for a more fun and engaging driving experience.
